, the fair opened its doors to visitors on Thursday, 6 March 2008. The inauguration of the fair was made by Deputy Executive Board Chairman Yavuz Özgün, Tema Foundation Projects Department Chairman Mustafa Uzbilek, Emlak Konut Real Estate Investment Inc. General Manager Feyzullah Yetkin, Ankara Chamber of Commerce Chairman Sinan Aygün and Energy and Natural Resources Ministry’s Energy Department Chairman Yusuf Korucu. Following the speeches of opening ceremony, the officials took information related with the sector negotiating with the participant firms.
Being first and singular fair of our country in its area, the 3rd Istanbul Paint Fair in which total 121 participant firms participated and 14,478 visitors toured the fair. Having accomplished in 2006 for the first time, Istanbul Paint Fair and together with Insulation Fair firstly held in 2007, Ihlas Fair Organization set out with the idea to offer much benefit for the fair visitors with a single fair and achieved its targets.
At the fair, to which paint producers and sellers act in , in the meaning of visitor quality, a successful breakthrough was made at the fair. The final buyers were drew attention at the fair that was only toured by professional visitors.
The wishes of participants, aiming to increase their quality, being a brand, meeting with the new markets, have merged with the successes in the matter of fair organization of Ihlas Fair Organization and the fair was realized with successfully. The activities and conference programs in the structure of the fair were followed by the sector with interest too.
Thanks to successes in the meaning of visitors and activity and satisfaction of the participant firms, the fair has indicated to overcome of the sectorial problems and to have growth in the upcoming years.

In today’s business world in which competition increased and borders have been uncertain, our country's economy is fed by the construction in the big proportion. The construction sector is one of the biggest sectors of our country with its employment number and its supplier sectors whose contribute to the development. Having realized as a first and singular and aiming to supply information stream to which the sector needs, the 3rd Istanbul Paint Fair is a fair that achieved its targets and have responded to the expectations in our country.
After the fair, it has been entered the expectation of the 4th Istanbul Paint Fair that will be realized on the date of 26 February - 1 March 2009 and both our company and participants have started works for the bigger objectives.

featured suitably to hold the 3rd Istanbul Paint Fair with its infrastructure, transport and technical characteristics. Having total fair area of 18 thousand sq m, in addition foyer and technical possibilities have contributed accomplishing the fair successfully.
The fair area that is near to the airport in the aspect of visitors, in addition to the Metro stop and locating at the intersection of E-5 and TEM highways, has eased the transportation of the fair. Services vehicles which departed from the district of Metro and Taksim, buses that came from Konya Chamber of Commerce, Kars Chamber of Contractors and Woodworkers, Kütahya Tavşanlı Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Kayseri Chamber of Industry, Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gebze Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mersin Commerce and Industry and Manisa Salihli Commerce and Industry, and efforts of Ihlas Fair Organization in solving transport problems have prevented to experience any trouble in transport.
